Alpha Gamma Rho is a social as well as professional organization for young men pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in agriculture, food, fiber, life sciences, natural resources, forestry, environmental or related agricultural fields. There are over 1500 AGR alumni at NDSU.
AGR was the first Greek organization established on the NDSU campus and is celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2013. Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho was installed on March 24, 1913 as the fifth chapter of the national fraternity, hence the namesake Epsilon, which is the fifth letter of the Greek alphabet. Today Epsilon is one of 72 AGR chapters across the US.
